Tsukiji Sushi Sake Bar: Authentic Japanese Cuisine with a Modern Twist

We had the best experience here! The owners Jesse and Sam could not have been nicer or more pleasant. We ordered a couple of appetizers, a few speciality and classic rolls, and beer/wine. The vibe is great — elevated yet laid back, good music, versatile and suited for a ‘neighborhood walk in’ or for a date night. Staff was attentive and not overbearing or rushed. Quality of ingredients is more than evident, everything tasted and looked so fresh — you could really tell the kitchen put time, effort, and extra attention into what they were making for you. Presentation is thoughtful and so nice. Flavors were amazing, and loved the variety in the menu. Nothing was overly salty, overly heavy in any ‘one’ direction - everything was so well balanced. The owners brought a dessert for us, the matcha mochi, and it was perfect! Would recommend here 11/10 times and will absolutely be a new regular!

Amazing food with some great halal options (mocktails, and beef and chicken are all halal), warm and efficient service, and a great ambiance. Perfect for my birthday dinner, my husband and I had a great time. Can't wait to be back in the future!!

Owner was really nice and took his time to walk through the menu with us and what was halal. Steak appetizer was okay. The ramen and udon were flavorful. Our favorite was the citrus salmon roll though, we wish we got more sushi! The lava cake was good too!

The sushi was so delicious along with the lobster wontons. The owner sam was very kind to my family and I. Sam even suprised me with a dessert! I will be going back 10/10 experience

I asked for the recipe for the chicken curry! Seriously! It was so good! And a perfect serving size too, I finished it all and only shared a little haha. Their ramen was good too, large bowl full of all the classics with a very savory miso broth. I didn’t get to try the margaritas but they looked great! The style is cute they have Star Wars paintings and Japanese decor while playing Spanish music. It’s a vibe, and a lot of fun. Servers were so nice and attentive!

Everything was perfect and delicious. From the moment you arrive, the place offers a highly pleasant experience. Friendly and welcoming service, a varied menu, excellent flavors, great recommendations, and a nice atmosphere. 1000/10 — I’ll happily come back with friends to keep exploring their amazing flavors!

Went for my birthday dinner after hearing that they had halal options. I’ve been looking for a good halal ramen spot and I’m so happy I came here! The food was incredible and the staff is amazing!! Met the owners, Jesse and her husband, and they were so kind and friendly. She recommended so many great dishes like the Santana roll and the lobster wontons. We wanted to split the chicken ramen and they took an extra step to place the ramen in separate bowls for us. Jesse even noticed that my parents weren’t feeling well and brought them green tea with honey. Just extremely accommodating and welcoming. The food was also fantastic! Definitely coming back!

Best sushi rolls I’ve had in a long time. The shrimp tempura bento box is a must. The owners are such a sweet couple, they were amazing. Don’t believe the negative comments especially the ones that say, I’ve never left a negative comment before-yet can take the time to leave a life story filled with negativity and recount how everything was taking hours, but yet not walk out? We’re Definitely coming back! Don’t listen to the haters! Please support this wonderful family owned business, the food is amazing, service is amazing everything was excellent.
